Eligibility Criteria

• Work Inspector : Candidates must have passed Matric (10th) or Equivalent + Draftsman Civil/Surveyor / Plumber Trade examination From recognized Board or Institute.
• Dental Hygienist : Candidates must have passed Intermediate (10+2) with as a Subject Biology from a recognized Board + 02 Year Diploma in Dental Hygienist From a Bihar or Central or any Other State Government institution + Candidates must be a Registered Dental Hygienist with Bihar State Dental Council.
• Hostel Manager : Candidates must have be passed Graduation with B.sc (Hospitality and Hotel Administration) or, must have be passed a Post Graduate Diploma in Hotel Management after Graduation.

Short Information

Work Inspector (कार्य  निरीक्षक) पद के लिए कुल 1,114 रिक्तियों, Dental Hygienist (दन्त स्वास्थ विज्ञानी) पद के लिए 702 रिक्तियाँ तथा Hostel Manager ( छात्रवास प्रबंधक) पद के लिए 91 रिक्तियाँ की घोषणा की गई है। इसकी ऑनलाइन आवेदन की शुआत 10 अक्टूबर 2025 से होने जा रही है और 10 नवंबर 2025 को समाप्त हो जाएगी। हम अपने इस लेख के माध्यम से BTSC Recruitment 2025 से संबंधित सभी छोटी से छोटी जानकारी को विस्तार पूरक जानेंगे , जिससे उम्मीदवारों को सही तरीके से आवेदन करने में मदद मिलेगी।

Educational Qualification & Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the post of Work Inspector, candidates must fulfill the following eligibility conditions as on the closing date of application (November 10, 2025) :

• Educational Qualification :

Applicants should have passed Matriculation (Class 10) or an equivalent examination from a recognized board. In addition, they must hold a Diploma in Civil Engineering from an institute approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) or the State Board of Technical Education.

• Other Essential Requirements :

Candidates must have proficiency in Hindi (at least up to Matric level), as the position is based in Bihar. Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply, and they must meet any additional requirements prescribed by the respective state authorities.

• Reservations & Certificates :

Those applying under reserved categories such as SC/ST/OBC, EWS, or PwD must provide valid certificates issued by the competent authority at the time of verification.

PwD candidates must have secured a minimum of 36% marks in Matriculation to be considered eligible. Relaxations and concessions will be applicable as per government rules.

Note : Candidates are advised to thoroughly check their eligibility as per the official advertisement. Submission of incomplete or invalid documents may result in disqualification.

To be eligible for the Hostel Manager position, applicants must meet the following educational criteria as of the last date of application (November 10, 2025) :

Educational Qualification :

• Candidates must have B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration.  OR,
• A Graduation degree in any stream along with a Post Graduate Diploma in Hotel Management

Age Limit & Relaxation

• The age of candidates will be calculated as on August 1, 2025.
• The minimum age required for all applicants is 21 years.
• PwD candidates: Will receive an additional 10 years relaxation beyond their category-specific limit.
• Ex-servicemen: Age relaxation will be granted as per Bihar Government norms (generally up to 3 years plus service duration).
• Additional relaxations will also apply to Bihar government employees or other special cases as mentioned in the official notification.
• Candidates must produce valid proof of age (such as Matriculation Certificate) during the verification process.

Selection Process

1. Computer Based Test (CBT) : The CBT Exam help is an Objective type Online Exam with 100 Multiple-Choice Question and each Question carry 2 Mark, and Total Marks of exam carrying 200 Marks.

• The question paper will be bilingual (Hindi and English) wherever applicable, and each wrong answer will attract a penalty of 0.25 marks.
• Qualifying marks: UR/EWS: 30%, BC/EBC/RBC: 25%, SC/ST/Women/PwD: 20%; score normalization will be applied if the exam is held in multiple shifts.

1. Document Verification: Candidates shortlisted on the basis of CBT merit will undergo verification of certificates and eligibility.
2. Final Merit List: The final list will be prepared from CBT scores; in case of a tie, preference will be given first by date of birth (older candidates first) and then by alphabetical order of names.

No interview stage is prescribed; the process is transparent and conducted in computer-based mode.
