Age Limit

BSSC 10 + 2 Level Vacancy 2025 : The calculation of the candidate’s age will be based on 01.08.2023. However, as per the order of the Government of Bihar, dated 01.06.2016, BSSC Inter Level Vacancy 2025 – the maximum age limit has been fixed and for those who possess the requisite minimum educational qualification on or before 23.01.2016, the upper age limit shall be the same as applicable on that date.

(i) Minimum Age Limit – 18 (Years)

(ii) Maximum Age Limit –

• Unreserved Category (Male) – 37 years
• Unreserved Category (Female) – 40 years
• Backward Class / Extremely Backward Class (Male/Female) – 40 years
• Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe (Male/Female) – 42 years

(iii) BSSC 10 + 2 Level Vacancy 2025 – Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department (Presently General Administration Department) Resolution No. 2374, dated 16.07.2007 and letter No. 13107, dated 20.09.2019: Government servants of Bihar (Government servants appointed by the Government of Bihar) who have completed a minimum of three (03) years of continuous service are eligible for a five (05) year relaxation in the maximum age limit for entry into service/merger. For claiming age relaxation against a post, they will have to compulsorily submit a certificate issued by the competent authority in the prescribed format during the counseling/document verification, clearly mentioning that the said candidate has completed a minimum of three (03) years of continuous service in the State of Bihar and stating the date of calculation of age.

(iv) bssc 10 + 2r level vacancy 2025 last date : General Administration Department, Government of Bihar Resolution No. 22218, dated 09.12.2022: The maximum age limit for Government servants of Bihar who are seeking service in Bihar Public Service Commission, Bihar Technical Service Commission, or any other government servant selection commission is five (05) years more than the maximum age limit prescribed for other candidates participating in the competitive examinations organized by the Public Service Commission/Commission.

(v) bssc 10 + 2 level vacancy 2025 last date : Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department (Presently General Administration Department) Letter No. 2447, dated 06.02.1990: Ex-Servicemen will get an age relaxation of three (03) years in their actual age and also the duration of service rendered in the reserve forces for the purpose of maximum age limit, provided that their actual age on the date of application should not exceed 53 (Fifty-three) years. To avail this relaxation, the original/photo copy of the Ex-Servicemen Certificate issued by the competent authority must be compulsorily submitted.

(vi) BSSC 10 + 2 Level Vacancy 2025 – General Administration Department, Patna Circular No. 962, dated 22.01.2021: Ten (10) years of age relaxation is admissible to Divyang (PwD) candidates under the quota of horizontal reservation.

• All candidates from outside the State of Bihar (Regardless of category) ₹ 540/-

The examination fee of BSSC Inter Level Vacancy 2025 (Processing Charge and Service Tax) will have to be paid by the candidate separately. The fee can be paid through Online (Credit Card / Debit Card / UPI / Net Banking etc.) while applying for the examination.

The last date for online registration and payment of the examination fee through Online Payment Gateway is 27.09.2023 till 11:59 PM.

Note: After the online registration of BSSC Inter Level Vacancy 2025 and payment of the examination fee, no modification will be possible for the candidate, so it is necessary to check all the entries before finalizing the online application.
