RRB CEN Instructions

Create an Account

• Candidates can register and create an account for this CEN using the link provided on the official RRB websites.
• Linked mobile number and linked email ID are mandatory for account creation; OTP-based checks prevent duplicate/false accounts.
• A valid mobile number and a valid email ID are mandatory for registration.
• Details required during account creation: Name Father’s Name Mother’s Name Date of Birth Aadhaar Number
• Editing of the above data may be allowed after verification if any error is observed.

Identity Authentication Advisory

• Complete e-KYC via DigiLocker or authorized agency to authenticate identity and create a verified Aadhaar.
• e-KYC helps faster verification at later recruitment stages.
• Upload photographs/signature against a white background; photo ID with white background is acceptable.

Online Application Guidelines

1. Apply only on prescribed RRB websites for the specific CEN; ensure eligibility before applying.
2. Applications are accepted only in online mode; other modes are rejected.
3. Registration can be completed when recruitment intimations are issued.
4. Keep details/marks of all exams handy. Prepare uploads:
   • Recent photograph (20–50 KB, JPEG)
   • Scanned signature (10–40 KB, JPEG)
   • SC/ST certificate (50–100 KB, PDF/JPEG)
   • 12th/Graduation/ITI/NCVT/SCVT certificate (50–100 KB)
   • Other relevant certificates (50–100 KB)
5. After payment, download the application form with acknowledgment for future reference.
6. Ensure all details are correct and true; false information may lead to rejection at any stage.

Live Photo Capturing

• Photo is captured live during the online form process.
• Use plain white background; wear simple attire.
• Ensure adequate lighting; avoid caps, sunglasses, or tinted glasses.
• Face straight, look at the camera; no tilt.
• Image must be clear; blurred images will be rejected.
• Live photo should match photos captured at later stages.

Photo Tips

• Prefer non-fancy, darker clothing for contrast with white background.
• Sit facing the camera when prompted.
• Remove headgear unless for religious reasons.
• Avoid glare on spectacles by adjusting lighting.
• Keep neutral expression; eyes open.
• Avoid heavy makeup or accessories that interfere with capture.
• Use a recent photo matching current appearance.
• Do not digitally alter photos beyond basic brightness/contrast.
• Ensure no shadows, reflections, or red-eye.
• Mobile/digital camera photos are acceptable if sharp, clear, and JPEG.
• Avoid uniforms or camouflage patterns.
• Do not cover ears or forehead.
• Face must be fully visible and centered—from top of head to chin.
• Follow file size and format requirements strictly.
• Avoid harsh shadows or overexposed areas.
• Use the same photograph consistently throughout recruitment stages.
